Craftsholic
Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Craftsholic.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase or use of services provided by Craftsholic (“Craftsholic,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Craftsholic is operated by [Registered Legal Business Name], located at [Registered Business Address and Jurisdiction].

By accessing or using our website, you agree to follow the website-use provisions of these Terms. When you purchase services, you will be asked to accept the applicable proposal, service agreement, or statement of work.

If you are entering into an agreement on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

If a signed service contract conflicts with these Terms, the signed contract takes precedence for that engagement, except where mandatory laws or previously advertised consumer rights require otherwise.

2. Services Provided

Craftsholic provides professional digital services, including but not limited to:

  • Branding, logo design, and brand identity.
  • Custom website design and development.
  • Website redesign and redevelopment.
  • Landing page design and development.
  • E-commerce website solutions.
  • Website migration.
  • Website hosting and domain-related assistance.
  • Website maintenance and technical support.
  • Search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Digital marketing, including social media, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email, and content marketing.
  • Conversion rate optimization and related consulting.

Specific deliverables, features, pricing, and timelines depend on the package or custom proposal you select. Services that are not expressly included in the agreed scope are not included in the purchase price.

3. Project Initiation and Confirmation

A project officially begins when:

  • You accept the relevant quote, package, or service agreement.
  • We receive the required initial payment, where applicable.
  • You provide the information, materials, and access we reasonably need to begin.

We may ask you to complete a project brief with business details, branding preferences, examples, design requirements, and functional specifications. Timelines begin on the agreed start date and may depend on receiving the required information. Delays in providing materials may affect delivery milestones.

Craftsholic may decline projects that are unlawful, technically infeasible, outside our capabilities, or inconsistent with our business policies. Payments already collected for a declined or canceled project will be handled under the agreed refund terms and applicable law.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

Craftsholic offers fixed-price packages, custom project quotes, and recurring service plans. Pricing is determined by the package you select or the quote you accept.

4.1 Fixed-Price Projects

For many projects, the standard arrangement is a 50% deposit to start the project and the remaining 50% upon completion, according to the agreed delivery and acceptance milestones. Milestone-based or other payment arrangements may be offered and will be confirmed in writing.

4.2 Custom Projects

Projects that need additional features, integrations, custom programming, e-commerce functionality, or specialized development are quoted according to the agreed scope. Additional work must be authorized before extra charges are incurred.

4.3 Recurring Services

Hosting, maintenance, SEO, marketing, and other ongoing services may be billed monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the plan. The billing frequency, charges, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions will be disclosed before purchase.

4.4 Additional Costs

Unless expressly included in your package or proposal, the following may be charged separately:

  • Domain registration and renewal.
  • Website hosting and renewals.
  • Premium plugins, themes, and extensions.
  • Third-party software subscriptions.
  • Payment gateway fees.
  • Stock photography, video, or other licensed media.
  • Premium fonts and other licensed assets.
  • External APIs and software integrations.
  • Advertising spend on platforms such as Google and Meta.
  • Additional pages, functionality, or support beyond the agreed scope.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless another currency is stated. Taxes, transaction fees, and other charges will be disclosed where applicable.

5. Our Process

Craftsholic follows a structured process designed for clarity, collaboration, and quality. It typically includes:

  • Discovery: Learning about your business, audience, goals, functionality needs, and design preferences.
  • Planning: Defining scope, site structure, required pages, integrations, and milestones.
  • Design: Preparing brand concepts, page layouts, and user interface designs according to your package.
  • Development: Building approved designs and implementing the agreed functionality.
  • Testing: Reviewing compatibility, responsiveness, navigation, forms, and agreed technical functions.
  • Launch: Deploying the completed work following the agreed approval and delivery steps.

The process may vary with the complexity of the project and the services purchased.

6. Design Concepts and Preliminary Work

The number of initial design concepts depends on your package or approved proposal. Concepts are prepared using the project brief and the information you provide.

If Craftsholic offers a complimentary concept or promotional mockup, the eligibility requirements, deliverables, and any purchase conditions will be communicated before work begins. A complimentary concept does not automatically include a complete working website, transferable source files, unlimited variations, paid third-party assets, or ownership and commercial usage rights.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, preliminary concepts and unpaid design work remain the intellectual property of Craftsholic. You may not reproduce, publish, resell, or commercially use them without our authorization.

7. Revision Policy

Craftsholic aims to deliver work that meets the agreed requirements and design objectives. The number and extent of revisions depend on your package or service agreement.

7.1 Standard Revisions

A revision is a modification to an existing concept or deliverable within the original project scope, such as:

  • Adjusting colors and typography.
  • Modifying page or layout designs.
  • Updating provided text or images.
  • Refining website sections.
  • Correcting implementation issues.

If a package expressly includes unlimited revisions, we will honor that for requests within the original scope and package terms. Unlimited revisions do not include unrelated new deliverables, additional websites, or entirely new functionality.

7.2 Additional Scope

Changes that may require additional payment include:

  • Completely changing an approved design direction.
  • Adding pages beyond the agreed package.
  • Introducing new integrations or custom functionality.
  • Changing the selected platform.
  • Rebuilding completed sections because of a new business requirement.

We will communicate any additional charges for your approval before the work proceeds. Revision turnaround depends on the complexity of the request, our current workload, and the timeline agreed with you. Any guaranteed turnaround must be confirmed in the applicable agreement.

8. Project Timelines and Delivery

Estimated delivery dates are based on the size and complexity of the project. Craftsholic will make reasonable efforts to meet the agreed schedule. However, delivery may be affected by:

  • Delayed client feedback.
  • Missing content or access credentials.
  • Additional feature requests or scope changes.
  • Third-party integration issues.
  • Hosting or server problems.
  • Technical complications outside the original specifications.
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a material delay occurs, we will tell you and share a revised expected completion date. Any contractual delivery guarantee or deadline is governed by the applicable written agreement. Rush services are subject to availability and any disclosed additional charges.

9. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information needed to carry out the project, which may include:

  • Business name and contact details.
  • Logos and branding assets.
  • Written website content.
  • Product information.
  • Photographs and graphics.
  • Legal notices and industry disclosures.
  • Website, hosting, and domain access.
  • Timely approvals and feedback.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use the materials you give us, and you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content, product claims, descriptions, and business representations. Craftsholic is not responsible for delays caused by missing information or late approvals. You should keep independent backups of business-critical information and existing website content.

10. Project Inactivity and Delayed Communication

Regular communication is necessary for successful delivery. If you become unresponsive for an extended period, Craftsholic may pause the project after reasonable attempts to contact you.

If we receive no response for 30 consecutive calendar days, we may place the project on hold after giving written notice. Restarting a paused project may require a revised timeline based on team availability and any changes to the requirements. Any restart fee will be disclosed and agreed to before it is charged.

Project inactivity does not automatically result in forfeiture of payments or statutory refund rights. If a project stays inactive for an extended period, we may propose closing the engagement and accounting for work performed, subject to the applicable agreement and law.

11. Project Approval and Completion

You will have the opportunity to review deliverables against the agreed scope. Final approval may be confirmed by email, an authorized project management system, or another agreed channel. After approval, Craftsholic may proceed with launch, final deployment, or delivery of the agreed files, and any remaining payment becomes due under the agreed milestones.

New work requested after final approval may be treated as a separate service or change request. Approval does not waive your rights relating to undelivered work, defects, applicable warranties, or legal protections.

12. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Craftsholic aims to resolve concerns fairly and in line with the commitments made at the time of purchase. Refund eligibility depends on the package, any disclosed guarantee, the project circumstances, work already performed, and mandatory consumer protection laws.

12.1 Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you request cancellation before work has started, we will review your payment and refund any amount due under the applicable agreement and law. Properly disclosed, non-recoverable third-party costs that you authorized and we already incurred may be deducted where legally permitted.

12.2 Cancellation After Work Begins

If a project is canceled after work has started, we may calculate the value of services completed and any authorized non-recoverable expenses, subject to the agreed refund terms and applicable law. A refund, credit, or outstanding balance will be determined based on those circumstances.

12.3 Guarantees, Satisfaction Concerns, and Third-Party Charges

If a Craftsholic package or proposal expressly advertises a guarantee, we will honor it under the conditions clearly disclosed before purchase. Guarantee restrictions will not be added retroactively.

If you believe a delivered service does not match the agreed scope, contact us with a description of the issue. We will review it and, where appropriate, propose corrections, completion of outstanding work, another mutually agreed resolution, or a refund where required.

Some domain registration charges, software licenses, hosting subscriptions, and external service fees may be non-refundable under the third-party provider’s policies. Any such exclusions will be disclosed at purchase and do not override mandatory legal rights.

12.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation, email info@craftsholic.com with the subject line “Refund Request: [Project Name].” Please include your order or invoice reference, the service purchased, and a brief explanation. We will review your request and respond within a reasonable period, consistent with applicable law.

If a project is fully refunded and no intellectual property transfer has taken place, you may not commercially use unpaid or refunded preliminary creative work without a separate license. This does not affect your ownership of materials you originally supplied or any rights that have already vested under law or agreement.

13. Hosting, Domain Names, and Third-Party Platforms

Craftsholic may provide hosting, domain registration assistance, website maintenance, and integrations with third-party platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Google, Meta, and payment processors. These services operate under their own policies, subscriptions, and terms.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise:

  • Domain registration and renewal charges are separate.
  • Third-party subscriptions and software fees are separate.
  • Platform transaction fees are set by the provider.
  • You are responsible for maintaining required third-party subscriptions.
  • Changes to third-party pricing, services, and policies are outside our control.

If we buy a domain on your behalf, ownership and account access arrangements should be documented in writing. Craftsholic does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms or hosting infrastructure. Where we directly provide hosting or maintenance, the service levels, backups, support scope, renewal charges, and cancellation steps will be set out in the relevant service agreement.

14. Website Maintenance and Support

Ongoing maintenance is not automatically included in every design or development package. Maintenance services may include:

  • Content updates.
  • Software and plugin updates.
  • Technical troubleshooting.
  • Performance monitoring.
  • Security-related maintenance.
  • Backup management.
  • Minor website modifications.

Specific inclusions depend on the maintenance plan you select. Unless a separate support agreement says otherwise, redesigns, new functionality, third-party subscription charges, and major development work are quoted separately. We will provide any agreed post-launch corrections or support according to your package or service agreement.

15. Intellectual Property and Ownership Rights

15.1 Client-Provided Materials

All intellectual property rights in materials you provide remain with you or the original rights holder. You grant Craftsholic a limited license to use those materials to deliver the contracted services.

15.2 Final Deliverables

Where a package or agreement provides full ownership, ownership of the final, specifically identified original deliverables created by Craftsholic transfers to you upon receipt of full payment, to the extent those rights are legally transferable. This may include original website layouts, custom graphics, logos, and custom-developed code expressly included in the agreement.

15.3 Third-Party Assets

Ownership transfers do not include intellectual property belonging to third parties, such as licensed fonts, stock images and videos, plugins and extensions, open-source frameworks, third-party themes, licensed software, and proprietary platform services. Those materials remain subject to their original licenses.

15.4 Pre-Existing Components and Rejected Concepts

Craftsholic retains ownership of its independently developed tools, reusable libraries, workflows, know-how, and pre-existing components. Where these are incorporated into a final deliverable, you receive the license needed to use them as specified in the agreement.

Unused, rejected, and unpaid concepts remain the property of Craftsholic unless otherwise agreed. You may not use, resell, reproduce, or distribute them without written authorization.

16. Portfolio and Promotional Use

Craftsholic may ask permission to display completed work in our portfolio, presentations, social media channels, or marketing materials. If a project is subject to confidentiality requirements or a non-disclosure agreement, we will respect those restrictions. We will not knowingly disclose confidential client materials, private customer information, or unpublished proprietary information without authorization. Any promotional use of completed work is subject to the applicable contract, permissions, and intellectual property rights.

17. Search Engine Optimization and Marketing Services

Craftsholic may provide SEO, advertising, marketing consulting, analytics, and conversion optimization services. We use professional methods intended to improve online performance, but results depend on factors beyond our direct control, including:

  • Search engine algorithms.
  • Competition and market conditions.
  • Advertising budgets.
  • Website content quality.
  • Product and service pricing.
  • Customer behavior.
  • Third-party platform policies.
  • Changes in your business.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, Craftsholic does not guarantee specific Google or Bing rankings, a particular number of visitors, guaranteed advertising conversions, a fixed number of leads or sales, specific revenue outcomes, or approval of every advertising account or campaign.

You remain responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of your business claims, products, and promotional materials. Advertising platform charges are separate from our service fees unless expressly included in the agreement.

18. E-Commerce Websites and Payment Integrations

For e-commerce projects, Craftsholic may implement shopping carts, product catalogs, checkout functions, booking systems, and payment gateway integrations. You remain responsible for:

  • Product accuracy and availability.
  • Product pricing and applicable taxes.
  • Shipping, returns, and customer service policies.
  • Required business licenses and permissions.
  • Compliance with applicable e-commerce and consumer laws.
  • Payment processor agreements.
  • Industry-specific legal disclosures.

Craftsholic does not act as the merchant of record for products sold through client-owned online stores unless a separate written agreement says so. Any specialized regulatory, legal, tax, or payment compliance requirements must be identified and agreed upon as part of the project scope.

19. Confidentiality

Craftsholic and the client agree to use reasonable care when handling confidential information shared during a project, such as business plans, customer records, financial information, proprietary processes, unpublished creative materials, website access credentials, marketing strategies, and internal documentation. Confidential information will be used only for authorized business purposes.

These obligations do not apply to information that is publicly available without breach, independently developed, lawfully obtained from another source, or required to be disclosed by law. Additional confidentiality requirements may be set out in a separate non-disclosure agreement.

20. Website Security and Access Credentials

You may need to give Craftsholic access to domains, hosting accounts, website platforms, and third-party services. We will take reasonable measures to protect authorized access credentials and use them only for the agreed services.

We encourage you to:

  • Use secure, unique passwords.
  • Enable multi-factor authentication.
  • Provide role-based access where possible.
  • Keep administrative ownership of your accounts.
  • Review and revoke unnecessary access after the project ends.

Craftsholic is not responsible for unauthorized changes made by third parties after access has been transferred or modified outside our control, except to the extent they result from our own acts or omissions.

21. Quality Assurance and Service Standards

Craftsholic aims to deliver professional work with reasonable skill, care, and attention to the agreed requirements. Before delivery, projects may be checked for core functionality, page navigation, mobile responsiveness where included, browser compatibility, form submissions, agreed integrations, content presentation, and basic technical functionality.

If an express satisfaction, uniqueness, ownership, or money-back guarantee is advertised as part of a package, we will honor it according to its terms and mandatory law. Subjective preferences, new requirements, and scope changes are handled through the agreed revision or change-request process.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Craftsholic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or interruption of operations, except where such exclusions are prohibited by law.

For contractual claims, Craftsholic’s total liability will generally not exceed the amount paid for the specific service or engagement giving rise to the claim, to the extent that limit is lawful and enforceable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and nothing restricts statutory consumer protections or express contractual warranties.

23. Project Suspension and Termination

Either party may request termination of a project by giving written notice. Craftsholic may suspend or terminate services for a material breach of the agreement, unlawful activity, non-payment after appropriate notice, or another legally justifiable reason. Where reasonably possible, the affected party will be given notice and an opportunity to fix a remediable breach.

Upon termination:

  • Completed work will be accounted for.
  • Outstanding authorized fees may become payable.
  • Applicable refunds or credits will be calculated.
  • Ownership and licensing rights will be determined under the relevant agreement.
  • Confidentiality obligations will continue where applicable.

No termination provision overrides an applicable money-back guarantee or statutory cancellation right.

24. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a payment was incorrect or a service was not delivered as agreed, please contact us so we can review the matter promptly. You can raise a billing concern by emailing info@craftsholic.com with your invoice reference and details of the issue. We may request relevant documentation and will make reasonable efforts to resolve legitimate disputes.

This section does not restrict your lawful right to contact a payment provider, start an eligible chargeback, or pursue other available remedies. Fraudulent payment activity or intentional misuse of services may result in appropriate action consistent with applicable law.

25. Third-Party Links and External Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. Craftsholic is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or independent operations. Please review the relevant third-party terms and policies before using those services.

26. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Craftsholic’s website, services, systems, or communication channels. Prohibited activities include:

  • Unauthorized access attempts.
  • Distributing malicious software.
  • Fraudulent transactions.
  • Unlawful content or activity.
  • Infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Misrepresenting your identity or authorization.
  • Interfering with website functionality or security.

Craftsholic may restrict access or decline services where reasonably necessary to address unlawful or abusive conduct, subject to applicable contractual obligations.

27. Privacy and Data Protection

Craftsholic collects and processes personal information according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements. The Privacy Policy explains our collection practices, marketing technologies, data sharing, your rights, and how to contact us about privacy. Please review it.

If a client project involves processing personal data on the client’s behalf, additional data-processing terms may be required.

28. Communications and Official Contact Channels

You may communicate with Craftsholic through authorized email addresses, telephone numbers, messaging accounts, and approved project management systems. Please verify payment requests and sensitive account instructions through our official contact channels. Craftsholic will not ask you to provide sensitive payment information through unverified or unauthorized channels.

Our primary contact details are:

Website: www.craftsholic.com
Email: info@craftsholic.com

Additional authorized communication channels may be confirmed during project onboarding.

29. Force Majeure

Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law. These may include major infrastructure failures, natural disasters, government restrictions, widespread internet outages, or other extraordinary circumstances. The affected party will make reasonable efforts to notify the other party and minimize disruption. Payment, cancellation, and termination consequences will be handled under the relevant agreement and applicable law.

30. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises about a project, payment, deliverable, or service, both parties agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve it through direct communication. You may submit a written complaint to info@craftsholic.com. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue available remedies through the appropriate legal channels. Nothing in these Terms prevents a party from exercising mandatory legal rights or obtaining appropriate legal relief.

31. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Actual Governing Jurisdiction], subject to mandatory consumer protection laws and other non-waivable legal rights. Any dispute requiring formal legal proceedings will be handled by a court or other competent authority with jurisdiction under the applicable agreement and law.

32. Changes to These Terms

Craftsholic may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements. The most recent version will be published on our website with an updated date. Changes generally apply going forward and will not retroactively remove rights under existing agreements or guarantees. Where required, material changes will be communicated or separately accepted.

33. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

For a purchased service, these Terms, together with the accepted proposal, agreed package description, applicable guarantees, and any signed service agreement, form the contractual framework for the engagement. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it.
